Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (WiSTEM) is an organization committed promoting and fostering the continuing education and careers of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematic (STEM) fields at New Mexico State University.
Our mission is to:
1) Serve as an environment for discussion of current issues relevant to women in STEM fields
2) Serve the university and community by providing support for women currently pursuing or interested in pursuing the sciences
3) Encourage the growth and retention of women through advanced studies, research, and careers in the sciences
4) Support and provide mentorship for each member of the organization in their career goals and ambitions
5) Cultivate the continuing curiosity of women in STEM studies and careers
